Programme – desert trip 3 days
Day 1. We’ll leave in the morning to reach a well’s area surrounded by beautiful cliffs. After lunch we’ll drive across canyons and into the dunes, where we will set up the camp and spend the night there. Depending on season and conditions we may be spotlighting looking for animals, or just enjoy the starry sky before sleeping in the silence of the Sahara.
Day 2. After breakfast and packing up we will drive through the dunes, stopping for some dune running before getting back to the fossil plateau that runs along the African coast. Still fully in the desert, we’ll keep driving following different pists until we reach a sulfur spring. We’ll set our camp here and enjoy the thermal water before having dinner.
Day 3. We’ll be driving back to Dakhla, mostly on tarmac but still enjoying the beaches of the Atlantic coast. Depending on season and conditions we may decide to stop at the White Dune before sunset.
